The firm and its directors have acted in and advised on numerous general insurance/reinsurance claims and matters involving fire/property damage, theft/conversion/bailment, workmens’ compensation/ personal injuries, and construction performance bonds.

 As regards reinsurance matters, the directors have acted for Tureugum Insurance and Home & Overseas (both of the Eagle Star Insurance Group) in 2 major cases which are currently the only locally-reported reinsurance decisions in Singapore, namely: Overseas Union Insurance Ltd v. Turegum Insurance Co [2001] 3 SLR 330 and Overseas Union Insurance Ltd v. Home & Overseas Insurance Co Ltd [2002] 4 SLR 104.
