The firm has an active insolvency practice and regularly advises clients in relation to matters involving companies in liquidation, judicial management, receiverships, scheme of arrangements. The firm also routinely advises and acts for specialist local forensic liquidators, including the liquidator in Liquidator of W&P Piling Pte Ltd v. Chew Yin What [2004] 3 SLR 164, where an application was filed to examine the former directors of the company viva voce in relation to the company’s “missing assets” and related transactions pursuant to Section 285 of the Companies Act.

The firm also handles corporate litigation work, and we have advised on shareholder disputes, minority oppression actions, and various applications under the Companies Act.
